Usage terms

1. License Types

We offer two license types depending on how you intend to use our maps:

Personal & Educational License (Default)

This license is included with every purchase. It allows you to use the maps for:

• Personal projects
• Home decor
• Classroom teaching and school projects
• Research, study materials, student assignments
• Homeschooling resources

Not allowed:

• Any commercial use
• Any resale or redistribution of the digital files
• Uploading the files to public libraries, POD platforms, or marketplaces

Limited Commercial License (Optional Upgrade)

If you wish to use our designs in products you sell, you may purchase a Limited Commercial License for each map you intend to use commercially.

The Limited Commercial License allows:

• Use on physical products for sale, including posters, canvas prints, books, stationery, merchandise, and print-on-demand items
• Use with or without modification
• Unlimited quantity of physical prints

Not allowed under this license:

• Selling, sharing, or distributing the original digital files
• Selling digital items that include the unaltered map file (e.g., selling the JPEG itself)
• Uploading source files to POD platforms, AI training datasets, or asset marketplaces
• Bundling our maps inside any digital product for resale (e.g., digital downloads, templates, or online tools)

2. Strict Prohibition on File Resale or Redistribution

Across all license types, the following actions are always prohibited:

• Reselling, sharing, or giving away the digital files
• Republishing or uploading the files online
• Posting files on file-sharing platforms, marketplaces, collaboration sites, or drive folders
• Claiming the artwork as your own
• Converting the files to other formats for the purpose of redistribution

3. Credit / Attribution

Attribution is not required under any license.

You may use the maps freely without crediting Printable USA Maps.

4. One-Time License Purchase

Each license:

• Is a one-time purchase
• Applies per individual map
• Cannot be transferred to another person or business
• Does not expire

If you need to use multiple maps commercially, a separate Limited Commercial License is required for each one.

7. Refund Policy

Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final.
Refunds are only provided if:

• You received a corrupted or inaccessible file
• There is a technical issue that we are unable to resolve
